Q1: What does “≥99% purity” mean?

Our peptides are sourced from trusted manufacturers who specify a purity of ≥99% based on validated laboratory methods such as HPLC or Mass Spectrometry. This means at least 99% of the material is the intended peptide with minimal impurities.

Q2: Why does the label state 99% purity if test results may show something different?

The ≥99% purity stated on the label comes directly from the manufacturer’s validated in-house testing. To provide transparency, we also commission independent testing through Janoshik, who report results with an industry-standard ±5% margin of error. This means a Janoshik result of, for example, 95% ±5%, is still consistent with the supplier’s ≥99% specification, since the true value may fall anywhere up to 100%. Both results are accurate, they are simply measured with different methods and margins.

Q3: Why do independent test results sometimes show different numbers?

Janoshik applies an industry-standard ±5% margin of error, so slight variation is expected between their results and the manufacturer’s specification. For example, a reported 95% purity may still reflect up to 99% purity within this margin. This difference reflects normal laboratory variability, not a lower-quality product.

Q4: Are the COAs shown on your website from Osirion?

No. All Certificates of Analysis (COAs) are provided directly by Janoshik, an independent testing lab. We do not perform in-house testing but share Janoshik’s results transparently for client reference.

Q5: Why do you show both supplier specifications and Janoshik results?

Supplier data gives the baseline purity specification (≥99%), while Janoshik’s independent verification ensures these specifications are accurate. By showing both, we provide full transparency and give researchers confidence in the quality of the material.
